With this release, HFR sets aside her soundscape vistas, but avoids overcompensation toward the brutal by careful construction of pieces in a 'stream of consciousness' form. Yes, there are elements of the soundscape/brutal here, but everything is placed carefully, as if hung on layers of gossamer to build each scene.

Throwing in the occasional spoken word piece (they take you by surprise) and even a sampled antifa song from WWII, this album is all over the place and yet remains thematic in sound and texture.
